Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) has unveiled new 2011 S60 sport sedan that introduces new safety technology Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake. The Volvo S60 sport sedan is expected to arrive at dealerships later this fall.
The company said that the pedestrian detection with full auto brake is a technological solution that helps the driver avoid accidents. The company’s radar and camera based system can detect pedestrians in front of car, warn driver if anyone walks out into its path and then automatically activate the S60's full braking power if driver fails to respond in time.
