KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Ryan Smith had a goal and an assist in his Major League Soccer debut, and the Wizards spoiled former coach Curt Onalfo’s return to Kansas City with a 4-0 victory Saturday night against D.C. United.
Smith, who left English side Crystal Palace earlier this year when his contract expired, assisted on Davy Arnaud’s first-half goal for a 2-0 lead and made it 3-0 with a putback in the 54th minute.
