TOKYO, April 1 (Reuters) – Dai-ichi Life Insurance jumped 14 percent in its market debut on Thursday after Japan’s No. 2 life insurer priced its $11 billion initial public offering at a discount to rival insurers.
Shares of Dai-ichi opened at 160,000 yen, above the 140,000 yen price for its IPO, the largest since Visa Inc’s (NYSE:V) $19.7 billion share offering in 2008.
